View of Lake Britton from the railroad bridge over the lake

Looking back at the automobile bridge over the lake

The Wye near Burney, at the end of the trip, backing up to turn around.

We had decided to stay on the train while they turned it around

Going back for the rest of the passengers

Here are the rest of the passengers, waiting for the train to stop and pick them up.

The same people were at almost all the crossings, taking pictures or just watching us go by at between 12 and 15 mph maximum.

We had just crossed this bridge over Lake Britton again and they stopped the train so we could take pictures.

Here she comes!

Cecelia and train backing up over the bridge for another photo opportunity.

Going home

On the way home after the train ride ended, we stopped to view the McCloud River Lower Falls,

and the Middle Falls,

and the Upper Falls.

We also finally stopped at the lava caves near the 44 / 89 intersection, but hadn't brought a flashlight with us

Looking back

Too dark to wander!
